When caring for your natural hair its important to use products that will not overdry the hair. Natural hair tends to break like the leaves on the trees when it looses moisture. Here are a few tips on purchasing product to properly care for you natural hair.
Shampoo:
Don't- use products with laurel sulfate. This is an ingredient found in many shampoos and detergents including dishwashing liquid. It tends to strip the hair of its natural oils.
Do- use a natural castil soap based shampoo. Castile soap is less drying to the hair and does not strip the hair and scalp of its natural oils.
